It is damn cold out
Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008Today it was a balmy 4*F so I go out and start the car. Remember from the last post I only have a sheet of 15 mil plastic covering the drivers side window and I have to crawl across the interior to get in it. When I got into work it was a Steamy 10 degrees.
Around the farm I have been finding dead chickens all over. It seems that there is a goat or goats that has decided that a warm squishy chicken is the perfect place to lay down on resulting in the chicken getting crushed. I swear if I can figure out what goat is crushing my chickens to death they are going to end up in the freezer or sold at auction.
Come on Summer. For the days getting longer it is sure cold out.
